James H. Greeman – A nationwide leading Social Security disability attorney, James was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 1995 and to the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota in April, 2001.
James is a graduate of Hamline University, and he obtained his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law. James has practiced exclusively in Social Security disability law throughout his 26-year legal career. He has personally represented more individuals in their disability claims than any other attorney licensed and practicing in Minnesota. During those 26 years, he has either represented or worked on disability claims for more than 100,000 people throughout the country and at all levels of the administrative process and in United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. Early in his career he made a commitment to representing the less fortunate members of our community. James has also represented disabled children, indigent and homeless claimants, those applying for SSI and the mentally ill.
James received recognition in 1999, 2000 and 2001 when he was named a “Super Lawyer” by Law and Politics, Twin Cities Business Monthly and Minneapolis-St. Paul Magazine, a distinction fewer than 5% of all Minnesota attorneys receive. He was also recognized when named by his peers in these same publications in 2001 as a “Rising Star” in the legal profession.
James lives in Apple Valley, Minnesota with his wife Carol and daughter.
